Configuring Your Out of Service Forward

This guide is intended to give you step-by-step instructions so that your phone will automatically forward to another number in the event it is out of service (unplugged, no connectivity, outage related). This guide assumes you have not yet confgured the out of service forwarding function. Please follow the steps below.

  1. Pickup your handset.
  2. Dial 70# (A Prompt will inform you you have not yet configured the forwarding number)
  3. Enter the number you would like to forward to (Enter the number as it would be dialed. No "9" is required)
  4. Press # (pound) (The number will be played back to you)
  5. Press # to confirm the nuumber (You may press * to enter the number again)
  6. Press 1 to verify that the call connects to the location you desired (The number will be called)
  7. Press # once you are satisfied it connected to the proper location.
  8. Press # to enable the forward.
  9. Hangup.

After this process is completed, your calls will automatically be routed to the desired number when your phone is out of service.

Disabling Your Out of Service Forward

  1. Pickup your handset
  2. Dial 71# (You will be notified the forward has been disabled)
  3. Hangup.
